LED Displays

Powered by Arcus

DESCRIPTION

With an Arcus LED display, you can visualize videos, presentations, advertisements and dynamic content on large screens, leaving a lasting impression. Whether you want to awake the interest of potential customers through vivid advertising messages or create an indescribable atmosphere at public viewing, concerts and sporting events, Arcus offers proven standard versions or custom LED displays with the latest LED technology and state-of-the-art input technology.

NARROW AND LIGHT

The LED displays convince with a narrow and lightweight construction, making them particularly suitable for rigging applications and frequent assembly and disassembly in the rental area. The lightest panels weigh only 32 kg / m² with a panel depth of only 10 cm.

Total Front Service

Thanks to the standard magnetic technology, all Arcus LED displays offer not just conventional back-service but also complete front-service. This means that not only individual LED modules can be replaced from the front, but also maintenance work on the power supply, receiver card, main card and cabling are possible, ensuring maximum flexibility in all maintenance work.

QuICK SETUP

All LED panels are equipped with the patented “SpeedGo” locking system, which makes it possible to set up the LED display without the use of tools.
In combination with a tongue-and-groove system, a fast setup with high precision can be realized, in which the LED display is gapless to ultimately avoid time-consuming readjustments.

Pixel Pitch OptionS

Thanks to the universal design, the panel housings can be equipped with a variety of available pixel modules with a pixel pitch of up to 1.6mm. Regardless of whether the LED display should be used indoors with a small viewing distance or outdoors with a greater distance, our specialists will gladly and competently advise you on the right choice of pixel modules.

SUPERIOR COLOR QUALITY

All Arcus LED displays only use high-quality LEDs from Class A batches, which are guaranteed by a very good binning process. In this process, in a first step, all LEDs are sorted according to their color quality and then grouped in batches guaranteeing that all LEDs of a batch have similar color spectra. This preselection ensures that each LED display, even in the uncalibrated state, achieves a high bit quality. Additionally, the color and image quality remains stable over the long term and the failure rate of the LEDs is reduced significantly.

Service

Our specialists are generally on site for the first application and explain the installation, handling and maintenance of the LED display. But we also gladly help you with follow-up projects if required. In case of a problem, we are available around the clock for you. If individual pixels in the LED display fail, you can easily use the supplied replacement modules and send the defective module back to Arcus for repair.

Any questions?

The pixel pitch is the distance between the center of an LED and the center of an adjacent LED. A smaller distance, means that LEDs are closer on the LED display and, in result, the resolution increases. The right pixel pitch is crucial for choosing the right display and depends on the type of application. In general, a smaller distance is often required in indoor use, whereas in outdoor applications the viewer usually has a higher distance to the LED display.

The requirements of an LED display differ greatly between indoor and outdoor use. Therefore, depending on the application, two different types of LEDs are used: Black Body and Black Face LEDs.

  • BlackBody SMD LEDs
For indoor use, Black Body SMD LEDs are used, which have a completely black housing and allow very small pixel pitches with a very high contrast ratio of up to 5000:1.
  • BlackFace SMD LEDs
Black Face SMD LEDs, on the other hand, have a black face in a housing that is otherwise white and are mainly used in LED displays for outdoor use. These LEDs achieve much higher brightness levels of up to 5000 nits compared to Black Body SMD LEDs, so even in bright sunshine the LED display delivers powerful images.

Yes, all LED displays are safety-tested and certified according to the required European standards. All our products meet the highest quality standards and have at least the following safety and quality certificates:

  • CE
European Mark of Conformity means that our products comply with all EU directives relevant to this area, such as safety, health and environmental requirements.
  • EMC standards EN61000, EN60950 IEC 950
LED displays generate electromagnetic fields during operation and are thus subject to the supervision of the federal networking agency (dt. Bundesnetzagentur), which is authorized to carry out inspections and even cause a shutdown of the system in case of infringements. An EMC certificate ensures that the LED displays are electromagnetically compatible and that the radiation does not cause interference from the police.
  • RoHS
The RoHS regulation restricts the use of known hazardous substances in products.

When choosing the right LED display, there are a many factors that determine the type of display and the size. These include, for example, the minimum distance of the audience, the audience size and the location of the event (inside or outside). For starters, you can take a look at our application examples and for all other details, our competent staff will be pleased to advise you.

When displaying media on an LED display, you are just as flexible as with a projector or LCD monitor. There are virtually no limits and you can, for example, connect both a laptop (for example for a PowerPoint presentation) and a receiver (for example for Live Sport) to the control system and then adapt the image source to the size and size of the LED display.
